For a relaxing break why not come and stay in the middle of the Cuckmere Valley overlooking the south downs, in our beautiful thatched country home, Dawes House in East Sussex.
Situated in a self
contained thatched annex separate from the main house. One family room
with separate sun room adjoining it with a double sofa bed for 3rd/4th
person, and a further double/twin room. All with their own en-suite,
tea & coffee making facilities and flatscreen TV. There is also a
separate guest living room and dining room with Sky TV and access into
the garden. Breakfast can be served in the dining room or on the
terrace (weather permitting). There are several country pubs and restaurants within walking distance serving delicious home cooked food, and we are also within walking distance of Alfriston and Berwick villages and one minute from the English Wine Centre and Drusilla’s Zoo, and a ten minute drive from Glyndebourne. Brighton, Lewes, Eastbourne and Seaford are all just a short drive away. We have many scenic walks right outside our door, as we are situated in the newly formed South Downs National Park.
